We were running under the rain in Korkula There was no more boat to join Mijet High fever and groanings Frantically struggling against fate We were stuck like zombies in Korkula Where they say Marco Polo was born in twelve fifty four We were stuck, september the first Without boat Like zombies in Korkula

Where have you been Lover extreme I didn’t feel you for a while Did you plan to hibernate? Have you been chased? So you don’t want to see us again Yet, everything is posible Yet, love is good Where have you been Relationships I didn’t think of you most of the time Ghosts and seasons Are kidding us They already turn around several times While we wonder While we don’t And in the light Guiding and warming We kindly got tangled up As little bugs Grilled on site We’re tenderly struggling And we fall, and we fall Ghosts and seasons are kidding us all

A walk 02:52
Day after day, we forgot ourself quietly curled up in a beautiful way Let’s go for a walk , a journey to breath some flowers and warm ours skins and then begin to smile A walk Off the beaten track And never look back and stay in peace Far away from the crazy ruch Open the rabbit hutch and Discover the world

Topsy turvy 03:58
Maybe I’m wrong to say that I don’t care And hide behind the lights Maybe I’m wrong to feel unconcerned I should wonder about all these things Maybe I’m wrong to love my life with you And hate everyone else Maybe I’m wrong to think we’re lost Maybe I’m wrong to wait for death Maybe I’m wrong to wait for death I’d rather preserve myself I’d rather preserve myself I don’t want to fall once again Once again Once again I don’t want to fall once again Once again Once again I don’t want to fall

Someone that you don’t know can become a friend Someone that you like may be the biggest mistake No one really knows who’s hiding behind Feelings make you bleed, feelings make you blind If only I knew I’d be not so kind Someone really you, it’s hard to find Someone that you are could be someone that you hate Someone that you hate could be the one you should love No one really knows who’s hiding behind Feelings make you bleed, feelings make you blind If only I knew I’d be not so kind Someone really you, it’s hard to find

To the moon 03:16
She’s shinning on me as the light of the sun shines on her skin Maybe she, maybe me, have made the first step: now we’re in Where are we still headed Help me come back home or I’ll go to the moon To the moon She told me yesterday “everyone is special for someone else” I’m not sure it’s the case but I’m sure she’s special I guess Where are we still headed Help me come back home or I’ll go to the moon To the moon

So when you’ll take the road Against the flow Would you like to bring me in? My sweetnest thoughts and love, Full in my soul I wanna give it all to you Lady long hair Cure for despair My head on her chest I’m elsewhere Let gaze at our navel Don’t care for the others Let me kiss your curly shapes Look into your deep eyes Behind the glasses That give you such a chicky side Let spend the day In the countryside Far from the noises Burying your smile Devil may care I loved you by the minute This is unfair You are too cute Cross my heart and hope to die If only you knew what was in my mind Are you ready for a fall for our love unbolt Passion you and me will mold Just a few a word a kiss...

Childfree 05:45
Without hesitance It’s so evident, To you You chose this winding road And i won’t let you go alone You are my half, And my heart We stick together For now we keep things moving You don’t Want To Follow The rule You’re telling me That you don’t want A baby Well, that’s your right And I join you  To take this flight Your are my one, And only We stick together For now we keep things moving You don’t Want To Follow The rule They don’t have to pray They don’t have to judge in any way It’s up to you if You don’t do what the others want you to do You are the wise in the storm I follow you For now we keep things moving You don’t Want To Follow The rule
12.
Song for M 05:54
No choice, no strength, Nothing more to wait for The worst is past, just behind us We must find peace Start all over, start all over... There was a time When everything was fine False questions to quiver But now is real Make a wish for nothing The worst is past, just behind us We must find peace Start all over, start all over... I want to, Yes I do, Heal that broken heart With the few Old values That I kept inside I want to Stay with you To heal that broken heart I want to, I love you, Heal that broken heart No regrets, No secrets Only smiles in mind
13.
For the best 05:34
I am ready to go Where You want me to I’ll follow you around For the best, for the best I’m tired of being the worst I’m tired of never being good enough I need to breathe To be positive I’m tired of being the worst Tired of never being good enough I need to dream This is my last chance I’m tired of being the worst I’m tired of never being good enough I need to dream I’m dying of being alone I’m dying of never being good enough I need to breathe And you can make me feel again Make me feel again No more tears and no more pain Just make me feel again Make me feel again Feed my heart and take my hand To make me feel again
14.
Still warm 02:16
Still warm I know I wanna find peace I know I wanna know the bliss By your side By your side By your side Still warm I know I want to be the one Who cares about you and goes on By your side By your side By your side Still warm down Still warm down By your side

about

Songs for Muriel is Petseleh's third album, released in january 2024.

Petseleh first appeared in 2012 on Strasbourg's indie folk and pop rock scene when Mathieu Le Digabel played his first acoustic solo concerts.

His first self-titled folk only album came out in 2013 followed by a second, The doubt and the revolution of reality, released in 2017 on which Mathieu invited his friends form the local scene to join him and play on six of his songs. This experience prompted the singer to hire musicians to propose a rock version of Petseleh both on stage and in studio.

The album you are about to discover today is the first release from Petseleh's band format. Fourteen love songs or how to try and keep the flame alive in a couple that was the collateral victim of a life tragedy (the feminicide of a mother).

Songs for Muriel is the second part of a trilogy: the logical follow-up to The doubt and the revolution of reality (its introductory song Dark was the horizon is an obvious reference to Song for B on the previous album) and a hopeful step, proposing a lighter, more joyous and more optimistic approach before the next album (already underway) Songs for the dust to come which will be released...one day... and which will feature more meaningful themes such as origins, family, the passage between life and death, the passing of loved-ones and with each one the loss of a part of our identities.
